Pilates Instructor Position (part-time)
**also seeking substitute teachers

Who you are:

  • Positive, kind, friendly, and energetic

  • Formally trained instructor on all the pilates apparatus;  ideally with at least 1 year teaching experience. Experience with special populations & conditions is a plus!

  • Enthusiastic instructor with a passion in helping others feel their absolute best

  • Loves to build connections with clients in an effort to form long-lasting relationships

 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Lead and instruct 50 minute appointments and classes throughout the week. 

  • Greet and welcome clients to the studio and your classes with a positive demeanor.

  • Empower clients on their fitness & wellness journey

  • Maintain the safety of clients first and foremost

 

Qualifications:

  • Experienced and trained in teaching with all Pilates apparatus (mat, reformer, cadillac, chair; corealign and ladder barrel a plus!)

  • Ability to confidently work with a range of clients of all ages and abilities. From new exercisers, to skilled pilates practitioners and seniors. Knowledge in post-rehabilitative conditioning a plus, but can be coached in this area.

  • Confident in teaching group classes and private sessions with personalize approach

  • Available to work 8-12 hours per week

  • Available any of the following: (other options can be discussed)

    • Mondays : 4pm-8pm

    • Tuesdays : 8am - 12pm ; 4pm-8pm

    • Wednesdays : 7am - 11am; 4pm-8pm

    • Thursdays : 4pm-8pm

    • Fridays : 8am-12pm ; 4pm-8pm

Certifications / Educational Requirements:

  • At least 1-2 years of teaching/ instructing

  • Pilates full certification required (500 hrs preferred)

  • CPR & AED Certification (Preferred)
